Questions

1–2 of 2 Questions
  1. How can I troubleshoot the issue with ufsc05001 where, during the process of diafiltration to push liquid into the stirred cell, the liquid is added too fast and overflows?

    1 answer
    1. Here are the troubleshooting steps for the dialysis set-up and nitrogen escape from the top lead seal:
      1) Before starting the diafiltration, customers should run gas pressure directly to the stirred cell for 5-10 seconds with the selector valve in “gas” mode.
      2) Petroleum jelly will likely be required to completely seal the top gasket of the stirred cell.

      Helpful?

  2. Is the membrane holder for the Amicon Stirred Cell UFSC05001 sold as a replacement part?

    1 answer
    1. No, the membrane holder component of the UFSC Amicon Stirred Cells is not sold separately.
