Application

EncapGel sustained release drug delivery hydrogel can be used for the encapsulation and delivery of drug or cells. The solution gels rapidly at 20 °C to 36 °C. Reverse thermal property of this hydrogel allows the percutaneous injection and immediate gelation in the body. The hydrogel matrix allows the spatial control of desired therapeutic agent in the vicinity of the target area. This hydrogel matrix is biodegraded completely within 3 days in-vivo, which allows the sustained release of the therapeutic agent to the targeted area. It is a research use only product to test the safety and efficacy of various therapeutic agents, such as drugs, small bioactive molecules, proteins, exosomes, targeted administration of micro- and nano-particles encapsulating therapeutic agents, or cellular-based therapeutics. This product is in a lyophilized powder form, and each vial can make 5 mL hydrogel.
