An immunoglobulin has two heavy chain and two light chain connected by disulfide bond. It mainly helps in immune defense. It is a glycoprotein. IgG is a major class of immunoglobulin. Immunoglobulin G (IgG) participates in hypersensitivity type II and type III. Guinea Pig is a highly preferred laboratory animal to study the local and anaphylactic reactions. It has two subclasses of IgG- IgG1 and IgG2. IgG1 helps in complement fixation through alternate pathway and IgG2 fixes complement by conventional mechanism.
This product is prepared by labeling high quality donkey anti-guinea pig IgG (H+L) with CF405M. CF405M is spectrally similar to and as bright as Pacific Blue dye but is significantly more photostable than the latter. An additional advantage of CF405M is that it has less spillover in the 525/50 green channel than Pacific Blue dye due to narrower emission peak, making CF405M a superior choice in multi-color detection applications. To minimize cross-reactivity, the antibody has been adsorbed against Bovine, Chicken, Goat, Syrian Hamster, Horse, Human, Mouse, Rabbit, Sheep and Rat serum.
