Src homology 3 and cysteine-rich domain-containing protein (STAC) has tandem Src homology 3 (SH3) and cysteine rich domains. The STAC gene is mapped to human chromosome 3p22−p24 and the protein is expressed in neurons.

These images and the collection of this vast data set can be viewed on the Human Protein Atlas (HPA) site by clicking on the Image Gallery link. We also provide Prestige Antibodies® protocols and other useful information.

生化/生理作用
Src homology 3 and cysteine-rich domain-containing protein (STAC1) interacts with calcium channels using the tandem SH3 domain regions. STAC modulates calcium channels membrane expression and neuronal excitability in nerve cells. STAC1 expression may have impact on learning process.
