生化/生理作用

PRR11(富含脯氨酸11)是一种推定的候选癌基因,参与肺癌的肿瘤发生和乳腺癌的EMT(上皮-间充质转化)。在乳腺癌细胞中,它减少上皮标志物E-钙粘蛋白的表达,并提高间充质标志物纤维连接蛋白和N-钙粘蛋白的表达。它在胃癌(GC)中也被上调,并被认为可以促进GC的发生和发展。该基因在细胞周期进程中起重要作用。
