一般描述
IgG（免疫球蛋白G）占血浆蛋白的10-20％，它是最主要的血清蛋白之一。它包含四个亚类：IgG1、IgG2、IgG3和IgG4。IgG结构有四条多肽链，包括两条相同的γ重链（H）和两条相同的κ或λ轻链（L），分别为50 kDa和25 kDa。

生化/生理作用
牛IgG是调节牛群免疫反应的糖蛋白抗体。接种天然H7鞭毛蛋白后，这种抗体可抑制TLR5活化。牛IgG水平可用于检测约内氏病（Johne′s disease ）和牛奶掺假。
外形
溶解在0.01M磷酸缓冲盐，pH7.4，含有0.05%MIT。
制备说明
通过Avrameas, S.等人在Scand. J. Immunol., 8, Suppl. 7, 7 (1978)中描述的两步戊二醛法制备。
