應用

-丁醇可用于制备碳水化合物脂肪酸酯。 它可以在通过脂肪酶催化反应从废烹饪棕榈油(WCPO)中生产脂肪酸甲酯(FAME)期间用作反应介质。

在氧化锆负载的12-钨磷酸存在下,它可用于甲酚的正丁化反应。2--丁基--甲酚(TBC)、2,6-二--丁基 --甲酚(DTBC)和 -丁基--甲苯基醚(醚)分贝为丁基化反应形成的产物。
