一般說明

Mueller Hinton Agar是专为使用纸片扩散法(Kirby Bauer法)进行抗生素敏感性测试而设计。CLSI基于以下原因推荐其作为抗生素敏感性检测的理想培养基:

  • 它显示出良好的批间重现性
  • 在一些抑制剂(如三甲嘧啶、磺胺类和四环素类)中的含量较低
  • 支持需复杂和不需复杂营养的细菌病原菌的生长。

應用

Mueller Hinton琼脂是一种固体培养基,最初设计用于分离病原性奈瑟菌,现已广泛用于临床标本中分离出的需氧菌和兼性厌氧菌进行抗菌药物敏感试验(包括磺胺类药)。

準備報告

将38 g本品悬浮于1升蒸馏水中,煮沸,完全溶解培养基,在121°C高压灭菌15分钟。

其他說明
