Acinetobacter Millichrome plus Supplement is a selective media supplement for the growth promotion of Acinetobacter. Millichrome chromogenic media is a specialized type of culture medium used to detect and isolate specific groups of bacteria based on their ability to produce enzymes with chromogenic substrates. This Acinetobacter supplement is composed of growth and regulatory factors. One vial of the supplement is sufficient for 5 L of final media.

Acinetobacter Millichrome plus Supplement is a selective chromogenic media supplement intended for use in the qualitative detection, differentiation and presumptive identification of Acinetobacter from various samples.

制备说明

Add 4.0 mL of the liquid Acinetobacter Millichrome plus Supplement into 1 L Acinetobacter Millichrome plus Agar base.

分析说明

The Acinetobacter is detected by a characteristic red colour after 24 h at an optimal growth temperature of 37°C, while most other Gram-negative bacteria form blue or inhibited after incubation at the same temperature.
