生化/生理作用

鱼藤酮是烟酰胺腺嘌呤二核苷酸(NADH):泛醌氧化还原酶线上粒体电子传递的一种抑制剂。它能够很容易的通过节肢动物的外骨骼被吸收,但皮肤或哺乳动物的胃肠道的吸收则不佳。鱼藤酮作为一种神经毒素能产生帕金森样症状,从而作为一种动物模型用于作为病因和干预措施的研究。鱼藤酮的主要作用机制是通过抑制线粒体复合物Ⅰ造成氧化应激和氧化损伤。由于鱼藤酮的亲脂性,它可以渗入大脑,结合并抑制线粒体电子传递链(ETC)中的复合物Ⅰ。
