SupraSolv^® ECD and FID is specially developed for gas chromatography in combination with ECD (Electron Capture Detetor) and FID (Flame Ionization detector).

Application

Ideal for GC applications including sensitive detection in residue and environmental analysis.
The product is used as a solvent/reagent in:

• sample preparation for determination of chlorinated pesticides according to EPA method 508
• pesticide residue analysis by fast GC and GC-MS[1]
• determination of folpet and phthalimide in food by LC-MS[2]
• quantification of cyclic volatile methylsiloxanes in human blood by large volume injection coupled to GC/MS[3]
• detection of fatty acids in cooking oils by GC[4]
