There is no assigned value but the butyl septum has ultra-low permeability. It can be used with many organic solvents: acetic acid (<50%), acetonitrile, acetone, alcohols, DMSO, phenol. Not compatible with alkanes, benzene, carbon disulfide, chlorinated solvents, cyclohexane. It has a maximum temperature of 200 °C.
