General description

Agar Strips TC are ready-to-use culture media for assessment of airborne microorganisms RCS® Air Samplers. Each individual agar strip is welded into a re-sealable sleeve and 100% visually controlled, ensuring maximum safety in critical environments. Tryptic Soy Agar is filled in a flexible backing film. Tryptic Soy Agar (TSA, Tryptic Soy Agar Soybean Casein Digest Agar) is a complex medium for cultivation and isolation of a wide range of bacteria, yeasts and molds. The medium is supplemented with the neutralizers such as lecithin and polysorbate 80.

Application

Agar Strips are used for monitoring of ambient air and compressed gases with RCS® Air Samplers.
