General description

Agar Strips TCI-y are ready-to-use culture media for assessment of airborne microorganisms with RCS® Air Samplers. Each individual agar strip is welded into a re-sealable sleeve and 100% visually controlled, ensuring maximum safety in critical environments. The basic medium is filled in a flexible backing film. TCI-y is a complex medium for cultivation and isolation of a wide range of bacteria, yeasts and molds. The medium is supplemented with neutralizers like lecithin, polysorbate 80 and thioglycollate. Addition of Pyruvate inactivates VHP residues, when used in isolators.

Application

Agar Strips are used for monitoring of ambient air and compressed gases with RCS® Air Samplers. These Agar strips gamma irradiated and triple bagged, for specific application within isolator and critical environment
