Center Drain vials:

• Available in 3.8 to 60 mL size.
• Less than 4 μL dead volume.

The CD^™ Vial (Center Draining) has a unique conical interior bottom that allows the contents to completely drain to the center bottom of the vial. Maximum extractiion of the contents can be done utilizing either a micropipette or syringe.

• The sturdy CD Vial with the patented unique is ideal for many micro applications.
• The vials are manufactured from Boroisilicate Type 1 glass to safeguard against a change in the pH of the contents.

The 12 x 32 mm CD Vial is available in snap top, crimp top, and 9 mm screw thread finish. This vial offers a 1.5 ml sample volume, works in all autosamplers, provides maximum content retrieval without requiring a limited volume insert. The production process provides consistency of quality and precision throughout all sizes of CD Vials. Bottom thickness dimension is the same in each vial and the conical well is located in the exact center of each vial. The patented CD Vial incorporates a smooth transition area from the sidewall of the vial to the conical well. This allows the contents of the vial to drain to the center of the conical well for maximum extraction (< 4ul dead volume).

The larger volume CD vials (3.8 to 60 mL) have a conical bottom finish. We recommend that a storage rack be used to support the vials. Three different size racks are available.
