Snoop would be an ideal bubble forming liquid. The specified tubing inner diameter is 3/16", which is 4.75mm. 4mm ID, 6mm OD tubing could be a little tight, but may work for an elastic material such as Tygon.

This item is suitable for use with room air, argon/methane, carbon dioxide, helium, hydrogen, and nitrogen. The tubing should have an ID of 3/16 inches, see product Z765228. The optimal pressure is listed at 20 psi or 1.4 bar. However, this unit has an approximate flow rate of 20mL to 1000mL per minute.

Manual Bubble Flowmeter (Standard Version) - 20433-U has an Approximate Flow Rate range of 20ml to 1000ml mL/min.

The tube is made of glass. The bubble flow meter will measure up to 100 ml. Generally, it is connected to the detector of the GC with a piece of tubing.
