Immunoglobulin G (IgG) belongs to the immunoglobulin family and is a widely expressed serum antibody. A immunoglobulin has two heavy chains and two light chains connected by a disulfide bond. It is a glycoprotein. IgG is a major class of immunoglobulin. It consists of five immunoglobulin classes- IgM, IgG, IgA, IgD and IgE. Mouse IgG is further divided into five classes- IgG1, IgG2a, IgG2b and IgG3.
Especificidad
Binds mouse IgG; does not bind other mouse Igs.
Aplicación
Anti-Mouse IgG (Fc specific) antibody produced in goat has been used in enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), immunofluorescence analysis/fluorescence activated cell sorting (FACS) analysis.
Acciones bioquímicas o fisiológicas
IgG antibody subtype is the most abundant of serum immunoglobulins of the immune system. It is secreted by B cells and is found in blood and extracellular fluids and provides protection from infections caused by bacteria, fungi and viruses. Maternal IgG is transferred to fetus through the placenta that is vital for immune defense of the neonate against infections.
Immunoglobulin G (IgG) participates in hypersensitivity type II and type III reactions. It mainly helps in immune defense. IgG helps in opsonization, complement fixation and antibody dependent cell mediated cytotoxicity.

Sjögren's Syndrome (SjS) is a common chronic autoimmune disease characterized by the B cell hyperactivation, lymphocyte infiltration, and tissue damage of exocrine glands. It can also present life-threatening extraglandular manifestations, such as pulmonary and hepatic involvement, renal inflammation and marginal
Cell populations and tissues exhibit unique gene expression profiles, which allow for characterizing and distinguishing cellular subtypes. Monitoring gene expression of cell type-specific markers can indicate cell status such as proliferation, stress, quiescence, or maturation. Quantitative reverse transcriptase PCR (qRT-PCR)
The endoplasmic reticulum (ER) forms a dynamic network that contacts other cellular membranes to regulate stress responses, calcium signalling and lipid transfer. Here, using high-resolution volume electron microscopy, we find that the ER forms a previously unknown association with keratin

T lymphocytes rely on a Ca(2+) signal known as store-operated calcium entry (SOCE) for their activation. This Ca(2+) signal is generated by activation of a T-cell receptor, depletion of endoplasmic reticulum (ER) Ca(2+) stores and activation of Ca(2+) release-activated Ca(2+)
