immunoprecipitation (IP): 2.5-5 μg using lysates of HEK-293T cells over expressing human HOXC8 western blot: 1-2 μg/mL using extracts of HEK-293T cells over expressing human HOXC8
Homeobox C8 (HOXC8) is a member of homeobox (HOX) family. It is a transcription factor, expressed in neural tube, brain, breast and adult bone marrow. HOX genes consist of a highly conserved 60-amino-acid region (the homeobox) with DNA-binding activity, that contributes to their activity as transcription factors. The gene is located on human chromosome 12q13.
Inmunógeno
synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 96-110 of human HOXC8 conjugated to KLH. The corresponding sequence is identical in mouse and rat.
Aplicación
Anti-HOXC8 antibody produced in rabbit has been used in immunoblotting and immunoprecipitation.
Acciones bioquímicas o fisiológicas
Homeobox C8 (HOXC8) is involved in cell growth, migration and metastasis of various cancers. Hox genes are important for embryonic development. Mutations in this gene are implicated in the development of cancers, such as leukemias or neoplasms of the breast, prostate, kidney, colon, skin and brain.
Forma física
Solution in 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, containing 15 mM sodium azide.

To evaluate whether miR-148a-3p overexpression is associated with disrupted decidualization of recurrent implantation failure (RIF). Endometrial miRNA and mRNA expression profiles during the implantation window derived from women with and without RIF were identified using microarray and RT-qPCR. Immortalized human
Homeobox genes are master regulators of cell fate during embryonic development and their expression is altered in cancer. By regulating the balance between cell proliferation and differentiation, they maintain homeostasis of normal tissues. Here, we screened the expression of homeobox
