The stability of this material following multiple freeze/thaw cycles indicates that a fine precipitate may be evident. However, the performance of the material was is effected. While it is recommended to use this product within 5 days of the initial thaw, it would be up to the end user to continue use following refreezing. Descripción general
Cell freezing medium is a combination of cryoprotectant DMSO with fetal bovine serum. However serum free medium replaces serum with methylcellulose and poloxamer 188 and other additives like ascorbic acid, α-tocopherol and proline.[1]
