Descripción general

Anti-GFAP antibody detects astrocytes, Schwann cells, satellite cells, enteric glial cells, andsome groups of ependymal cells. This marker is mainly used to distinguish neoplasms ofastrocytic origin from other neoplasms in the central nervous system.
