Descripción general

Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) are non-hematopoietic cells with multi-lineage potential that hold great promise for regenerative medicine. In defined in vitro assays, mesenchymal stem cells have been shown to readily differentiate into lineage-specific cells that form bone, cartilage, fat, tendon, and muscle tissues. Alipose tissue represents an abundant, accessible source of multipotent adipose-derived stromal cells. EMD Millipore′s Human Adipose-Derived MSCs are isolated from human adipose tissue collected during liposuction procedures and are cryopreserved as secondary cells to ensure optimal phenotype and the highest viability and plating efficiency. The cells have been isolated, plated and expanded in culture vessels twice before being harvested for cryopreservation. Each lot of adipose-derived MSCs originates from a single donor of human lipoaspirate tissue. These cells proliferate as an adherent cell monolayer and have shown a strong capacity for expansion in vitro while maintaining their multi-lineage potential to be differentiated down the typical mesenchymal lineages, such as adipogenic, chondrogenic, and osteogenic lineages. EMD Millipore′s Human Adipose-Derived MSCs are uniformly expressing the appropriate MSC markers including the integrin CD29 matrix receptors CD44 and CD105 and stromal cell-associated markers CD73, CD90, and CD166. The cells are negative for hematopoietic lineage markers CD14, CD31, CD34, and CD45.

The Human Adipose Mesenchymal Stem Cell Kit (SCR038) provides both cryopreserved human adipose mesenchymal stem cells (SCC038) and optimized low-serum media (Human Mesenchymal-LS Expansion Medium SCM023) that is recommended for use with these cells for optimal growth and expansion.

Componentes

1) 1 x 10^6 viable Human Adipose Mesenchymal Stem Cells: (Catalog No. SCC038). Store in liquid nitrogen. 2) 500 mL Human Mesenchymal-LS Expansion Medium (Catalog No. SCM023). Store at -20c and 2-8c.

Almacenamiento y estabilidad

Human Adipose Mesenchymal Stem Cells should be stored in liquid nitrogen. The cells can be passaged for at least three passages (or more than ten population double times) without significantly affect cell surface marker expression and differentiation potential.Human Mesenchymal-LS Expansion Medium should be stored at -20c (SCMM002-s) and 2-8C (SCMM-BM). All components are guaranteed stable until the expiration date stated on the individual labels. Once supplemented, cOmplete media is good for 2 weeks at 2-8c.
