General description

Leptophos, an organophosphorus insecticide found to be persistent in the environment, shows neurotoxic effects in humans. Its mode of action for pest control involves the inhibition of acetylcholinesterase enzyme activity.

Application

Leptophos may be used as an analytical reference standard for the quantification of the analyte in vegetables using solid phase micro-extraction coupled with gas chromatography-flame photometric detector (SPME-GC-FPD).
Refer to the product′s Certificate of Analysis for more information on a suitable instrument technique. Contact Technical Service for further support.
