C-X3-C motif chemokine receptor 1 (CX3CR1) is a transmembrane G-coupled chemokine receptor of its ligand, fractalkine. This receptor is expressed on epithelial cells, smooth muscle cells, microglia, monocytic cells and natural killer cells. The gene encoding CX3CR1 is localized on human chromosome 3p21.3 and has five exons.
Immunogen
Synthetic 19 amino acid peptide from 3rd extracellular domain of human CX3CR1. Percent identity with other species by BLAST analysis: Human (100%); Gorilla, Gibbon, Monkey (95%); Marmoset, Mouse, Panda (84%).
Biochem./physiol. Wirkung
C-X3-C motif chemokine receptor 1 (CX3CR1) may be linked to the development of macular degeneration. It also acts as a receptor aiding viral entry.

The tumor microenvironment (TME) plays an important role in the pathogenesis of many cancers. We aimed to screen the TME-related hub genes of colorectal adenoma (CRAD) and identify possible prognostic biomarkers. The gene expression profiles and clinical data of 464
How SARS-CoV-2 penetrates the airway barrier of mucus and periciliary mucins to infect nasal epithelium remains unclear. Using primary nasal epithelial organoid cultures, we found that the virus attaches to motile cilia via the ACE2 receptor. SARS-CoV-2 traverses the mucus
