Biochem./physiol. Wirkung

KHS1 (kinase homologous to SPS1/STE20) is a component of MAP (mitogen activated protein) kinase signaling pathway and is responsible for activation of JUNK (c-Jun N-terminal kinase). Mutation in the promoter region of KHS1 is linked with lower risk of type 2 diabetes.[1] It is also referred to as MAP4K5 (mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase kinase kinase 5)

Supplied in 50 mM Tris-HCl, pH 7.5, with 150 mM NaCl, 0.2 5mM DTT, 0.1 mM EGTA, 0.1 mM EDTA, 0.1 mM PMSF, and 25% glycerol.
