Anwendung

Biochem./physiol. Wirkung

TSC22D2 (TSC22 domain family, member 2) is a tumor suppression gene with antiproliferative characteristics. It is associated with the pathogenesis of several tumors, including glioblastoma multiforme, anaplastic astrocytoma. It is also down regulated in other tumors of salivary gland and human brain. In mouse kidney cells, it helps in adaptation of renal cells through osmosensory signal transduction pathway.
