Beschreibung

Allgemeine Beschreibung

Thioredoxin domain containing 16 (TXNDC16) belongs to the disulfide isomerase (PDI) family. It is an endoplasmic reticulum (ER)-luminal glycoprotein. It is also localized in the cytosol. It consists of five potential thioredoxin (Trx)-like domains which may form intramolecular disulfides. Mature protein consists of ten cysteine residues and four predicted N-glycosylation sites in human.[1]

Anwendung
