Anwendung

Clindamycin wird verwendet, um bakterielle Infektionen, wie die Infektion mit Streptokokken der Gruppe B, bakterielle Resistenz und die Plasmaproteinbindung zu untersuchen.[1][2][3]
Wird zur Untersuchung der bakteriellen Proteinsynthese verwendet.

Biochem./physiol. Wirkung

Clindamycin ist ein halbsynthetisches Lincosamid-Antibiotikum, das aus Lincomycin hergestellt wird. Es hemmt die bakterielle Proteinsynthese durch Wasserstoffbindungsinteraktionen mit der rRNA-Komponente 23S der ribosomalen Untereinheit 50S und induziert damit die Auflösung des Peptidyl-t-RNA-Komplexes. Es wirkt antibakteriell gegen grampositive Kokken und antiprotozoisch gegen Taxoplasma.
Clindamycinhydrochlorid ist hochwirksam gegen anaerobe Spezies.[4]

If the product quality is sensitive to short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped on wet or dry-ice. If the product quality is NOT affected by short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped at ambient temperature.     1. The USP 31 describes a liquid chromatographic method utilizing Clindamycin Hydrochloride and Lincomycin Hydrochloride standards. Other publications may be searched on PubMed, such as G. La Follette et al.,  J Chromatogr., Vol. 431 (No. 2), pp. 379-388 (1988).
