Allgemeine Beschreibung

Calcium acetate hydrate is an organic calcium salt. It is the principal component of PA (pyroligneous acid)-modified limestone.[1]

Anwendung

Calcium acetate hydrate may be used as the following:

• Precursor to produce calcium ions in the development of CaO-based mesoporous CO₂ sorbent.[2][3]
• Precursor in the synthesis of Fe₃O₄ (magnetite )–Ca₃(PO₄)₂ (calcium phosphate) core–shell nanoparticles.[4]
• Raw material in the synthesis hydroxyapatite–wollastonite composites.[5]
• Component of the reservoir solution used to induce crystallization of proteins.[6]
• Crosslinking agent in the microfluidic production of alginate hydrogel microbeads.[7]
• To rinse the glass surfaces before bonding during the formation of nano channels.[8]
