• Polymandelide by reacting with triethylamine.[1]
• α-Mercaptophenylacetic acid by treating with sodium hydrosulfide (NaSH·H₂O).[2]
• β-Lactams by reacting with imines in the presence of triphenylphosphine as a mediator.[3]
