General description

Mouse Resistin is a new member to the family of adipocyte secreted proteins. The biological functions of Resistin as well as its molecular target are largely unknown. Whether it promotes or antagonizes insulin action is still unclear. Recombinant mouse Resistin is a 20.2 kDa dimeric protein consisting of two 94 amino acid polypeptide chains.

Physical form

Lyophilized from 20 mM Tris, pH 8.0.

Reconstitution

Centrifuge the vial prior to opening. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Reconstitution in water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL. This solution can then be diluted into other aqueous buffers.

Resistin is associated with ectopic deposition of lipids, and determining its developmental and molecular mechanisms may help in the development of novel treatments. MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are involved in many physiological and pathological processes as negative regulators. We performed mouse liver

TBC1D1 and TBC1D4 proteins play analogous, but not identical role in governing insulin-signalling pathway. Little is known about changes in expression levels of TBC1D1 and TBC1D4 genes in mammals, including humans. Number of factors were studied, but data remain controversial.

Hypoxia-induced apoptosis of cementoblasts (OCCM-30) may be harmful to orthodontic treatment. Hypoxia-inducible factor 1-alpha (HIF-1α) mediates the biological effects during hypoxia. Little is known about the survival mechanism capable to counteract cementoblast apoptosis. We aimed to investigate the potential roles

Endothelial progenitor cells (EPCs) promote angiogenesis and are therefore key contributors to a wide variety of angiogenesis-related autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis (RA). However, the signaling mechanisms through which these progenitor cells influence RA pathogenesis remain unknown. The aim
