Questions

  1. If a stock solution of raclopride tartrate is made in PBS, can this be stored aliquoted in -20°C? If so, for how long can this be stored?

    1 answer
    1. The solubility in PBS has not been evaluated, and additional stability studies following reconstitution have not been conducted. According to the datasheet, storage should be in a tightly sealed container at room temperature, and the product is soluble in water at 89 mg/ml. More information can be found in the document: https://www.sigmaaldrich.com/deepweb/assets/sigmaaldrich/product/documents/363/806/r121dat.pdf. According to established guidelines, the stock solution should be stored as follows: at -80 °C, it is recommended to use the solution within 6 months; at -20 °C, it should be used within 1 month.
