Application

Hexadecylpyridinium chloride monohydrate has been used in a study to assess the decontamination process for the isolation of Mycobacterium avium subspecies Paratuberculosis from fecal samples using ESP broth cultures. [1] It has also been used in a study to investigate the removal of emulsified food and mineral oils from wastewater.
