Indo 1, a fluorescent calcium chelator and indicator, is used to monitor cytoplasmic Ca2+ transients induced by various physiological and mechanical processes.

Other Notes

Fluorescent calcium chelator and indicator with an unusually large shift in fluorescence emission from 480 nm to 400 nm on binding of calcium. Useful for intracellular application[1][2][3]
