How can this product be sterilised after reconstitution to 3 mg/ml?
1 answer-
The product is supplied sterile and should be reconstituted with 5ml of sterile 0.01M HCl. We would recommend filter sterilising the 0.01M HCl without collagen using a Millex syringe filter such as SLLG025SS (solvent resistant PTFE) or as it is only a weak acid solution then you could use cheaper SLGVR33RS (PVDF) sterile filters. It is not advisable to filter the collagen once in solution.
