General description

Bis(7-methyloctyl) phthalate, also known as DiNP, is a high molecular weight phthalate used predominantly as a plasticizer for polyvinyl chloride (PVC) articles in the production of hoses, shoe soles, wire and cable, soft vinyl toys and flooring.[1][2]

Application

Bis(7-methyloctyl) phthalate (DiNP) may be used as an analytical standard for the determination of the analyte in human urine, sediments and paper cups by chromatography techniques.
