General description

Propineb belongs to the dithiocarbamates (DTCs) class of fungicides, widely used in agriculture and horticulture. It has an additional advantage of low production cost, broad-spectrum of chemical and biological reactivity.[1]

Application

Propineb may be used as an analytical reference standard for the quantification of the analyte in environmental samples[1] and vegetable samples using different chromatography techniques.
