Description

General description

Acetochlor ESA sodium salt is a metabolite of the herbicide, acetochlor used for the preemergence control of annual grasses and broad-leaved weeds in corn, soybeans and other crops.[1]

Application

Acetochlor ESA may be used as an analytical reference standard for the determination of the analyte in water samples using liquid chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry (LC-MS).[1]
