General description

Neosolaniol is a group A trichothecene mycotoxin produced by fungi of the Fusarium genus, found in grains used for livestock as well as human consumption products such as bread and cereals.[1][2]

Application

Neosolaniol solution may be used as an analytical reference standard for the estimation of the analyte in human urine samples using gas chromatography coupled to tandem mass spectrometry (GC-MS/MS).[1]
