Tris(2-butoxyethyl) phosphate belongs to the class of organophosphate triesters, widely used as flame retardants and plasticizers in a variety of commercial products such as textiles, foams, polymers, paints, hydraulic fluids, etc.[1]

Application

Tris(2-butoxyethyl) phosphate may be used as an analytical reference standard for the quantification of the analyte in herring gull eggs,[1] house dust, and urine samples using liquid chromatography technique.
