General description

Fluorogenic substrate for isoenzyme A of N-acetyl-β-D-glucosaminidase (hexosaminidase A). Can be used for the prenatal diagnosis of Tay-Sachs disease and for the classification of GM2 gangliosidosis genotypes. Excitation maximum: ~360 nm; emission maximum: ~440 nm.

Preparation Note

Following reconstitution, aliquot and freeze (-20°C). Stock solutions are stable for up to 1 month at -20°C.
