Questions

  1. I received Titrisol ammonium iron(II) sulfate solution in a glass ampoule, but the instructions for opening are inadequate: it refers to rotating a funnel and piercing an upper membrane. Are there more complete instructions for opening this glass ampoule?

    1 answer
    1. Glass rods for Titrisol® ampoules product 1299980010 can be used to puncture the upper and lower membrane on the ampule. Quantitatively transfer the contents of an ampoule into a 250.00 mL volumetric flask thoroughly rinse the ampoule and glass rod with water into the flask and make up to volume with water. Please see the image below for step by step instructions.
