Questions

  1. How much of Chemizorb HF in kg do you need to clean up 1 kg/ltr of HF?

    1 answer
    1. Chemizorb HF is suitable for absorption and neutralization of dilute and semi-concentrated acids. The specific amount required for a given compound is not determined and would depend on the concentration of the acid. See the link below to review the Chemizorb brochure, page 9. The amount required to treat 100 grams of a 25% solution of HNO3 is approximately 160 grams of product. This material includes a color indicator to assist the end user in determining the appropriate amount required.
