General description

Vancomycin Hydrochloride is the hydrochloride salt of a kind of vancomycin, a substance produced by the growth of Streptomyces orientalis (Fam. Streptomycetaceae), or a mixture of two or more such salts.
Vancomycin Hydrochloride USP reference standard is provided as delivered and specified by the issuing Pharmacopoeia. All information provided in support of this product, including MSDS and any product information leaflets, has been developed and issued under the Authority of the issuing Pharmacopoeia. Application

Vancomycin hydrochloride USP reference standard, intended for use in specified quality tests and assays as specified in the USP compendia. Also, for use with USP monographs such as:
