General description

This ElectroGreen® solvent is made of bio-based (corn/beets-derived) safer alternatives to replace synthetic NMP fossil-based solvent with specifications tailored for electronics and energy applications. All our ElectroGreen® solvents line are derived from a renewable resource (verified through C14 ASTMD6866-16 testing). This solvent blend consists of Dimethyl sulphoxide 50-70%; N,N-Dimethyloctanamide 20-30%; N,N-Dimethyldecan-1-amide 10-20%.

Application

N-Methyl Pyrrolidone (NMP)’s largest use in electronics is in cleaning, surface preparation applications and ink formulations. For coatings formulators looking to replace petroleum-based solvents with a bio-based, sustainable alternative, NMP substitute – type 2, bio-sourced is a solvent blend ideal replacement for NMP in a wide array of ink formulations and cleaning applications.

Storage and Stability

To ensure low water content, handle under inert conditions. Product should be refrigerated upon receipt.
