General description

Park and Sanders Selective Supplement I is a specialized microbiological growth medium additive designed to enhance the selective isolation of thermotolerant Campylobacter species in clinical and non-clinical samples. The supplement is optimized for use in conjunction with base media, augmenting the growth of thermotolerant Campylobacter, while suppressing the proliferation of competing flora.

Park and Sanders Selective Supplement I is an antibiotic supplement recommended for the selective isolation and enumeration of thermotolerant Campylobacter species.

Components

Composition (per vial; sufficient for 1000 mL medium)
Vancomycin 10 mg; Trimethoprim 10 mg

Storage and Stability

Keep the container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place. Store in a cool place.
