SyntheCho^® Synthetic Cholesterol, for Cell Culture Emprove^® Expert, isa synthetic cholesterol supplement that has been developed to specifically meetthe demands of the life science and biopharmaceutical industries. Due to thesynthetic nature of the material, the elimination of animal-derived componentsreduces the incidence of performance variability in the medium and eliminatessafety risks due to adventitious agents associated with these components. Witha newly optimized manufacturing process, this product is available inquantities from grams to tons to support your development progress.

Application

This supplement is designed to be added to our chemically defined,animal component-free CHO and insect (Sf-RVN) cell media, as well as HEK-293media for VGT manufacturing. This material has been tested for compatibilitywith CHO and Sf-9 cell lines. Cholesterol provides structure to cellularmembranes, stores energy, and is vital in cell signaling and in regulating cellfunctions.
This product is intended for research or further manufacturing but notfor human or therapeutic use.
