Informations sur le gène

human ... NOTUM(147111)

Description générale

Protein notum homolog (NOTUM) is expressed at a low level in most mammalian tissues, although it is overexpressed in a subset of human hepatocellular carcinomas. Its transcription is regulated by β-catenin/TCF and is a target of the Wnt signaling pathway, forming a negative feedback loop that regulates the expression and activity of the Wnt pathway. In Drosophila, the notum gene is regulated by the Wingless pathway and encodes a secreted hydrolase that modifies heparan sulfate proteoglycans. The mammalian homolog has been shown to be able to cleave glypicans and can release GPI-anchored proteins from the mammalian cell surface. Like the Drosophilia NOTUM, the mammalian protein.

Immunogène

Epitope: N-terminus
KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide corresponding to the N-terminus of human NOTUM.

Application

Anti-NOTUM Antibody is an antibody against NOTUM for use in western blotting, IHC & immunofluorescence.
Immunohistochemistry Analysis: 2.5 μg/mL from a representative lot detected NOTUM in human brain tissue.

Immunofluorescence Analysis: 20 μg/mL from a representative lot detected NOTUM in mouse kidney cells.

In the adult ventricular-subventricular zone (V-SVZ), neural stem cells (NSCs) generate new olfactory bulb (OB) neurons and glia throughout life. To map adult neuronal lineage progression, we profiled >56,000 V-SVZ and OB cells by single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq). Our analyses
