Application

The Standard Reference Material (SRM) is primarily intended for validating chemical and instrumental methods used to analyze the elemental composition of glass. It is also used for validating the value assignment of a laboratory′s in-house reference materials.

Features and Benefits

  • NIST-certified mass fraction values for elements in glass matrix are provided. The values are metrologically traceable to the SI unit of mass fraction and expressed as percent.
  • Information values for various constituents in multicomponent glass are provided as mass fraction (%).
  • Maintenance and expiration of SRM certification, instructions for handling, storage, and use are provided on NIST certificate

Other Notes

Certified for the analytes listed below.
Aluminum (Al) , Antimony (Sb), Arsenic (As), Barium (Ba), Boron (B), Calcium (Ca), Chromium (Cr), Iron (Fe), Potassium (K), Lead (Pb), Lithium (Li), Magnesium (Mg), Silicon (Si), Silver (Ag), Sodium (Na), Strontium (Sr), Zinc (Zn)

Reference/Informational value is provided for the following analytes.
