The product is QC tested for protein, purity, solubility, color, pH, sulfated ash, protease, IgG, heavy metals, moisture, mycoplasma, Vesicular Stomatitits Virus and various other viruses in accordance with 9 CFR 113. The product is recommended for mammalian cell culture is and suitable for Enzyme immunoassay and Serology. It is not specifically tested for suitability for immunofluorescence.
The different Probumin products are distinguished by differences in methods of production. The inclusion of terms such as "Diagnostic Grade" or "Life Science Grade" in the name indicates solely that said products are commonly used by customers in those applications. We have not qualified these products for use in every possible application. Users should qualify Probumin BSA products using the specific reagents, conditions and constraints for their assays.
