The recommended working concentration for cell lysate application is 1 mM. It's important to note that orthovanadate can be toxic in the blood at a concentration of 0.12 mM. For further information, you can refer to the publication "Biochim Biophys Acta. 2012 Sep;1818(9):2260-70" with the PMID: 22546530. This publication discusses the effects of sodium orthovanadate on human erythrocytes and neuroblastoma cells in vitro. It mentions that the lethal concentration of vanadium in the blood of a patient was calculated to be about 0.12 mM.
